For the second year now, Welfare Association (Taawon) supports The National Institution of Social Care and Vocational Training in implementing their music therapy program for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

The program, which targets 320 children and adults from 4-20 ages, improves the psychosocial status of children and youth through music. It also provides training for 14 teachers and counselors.

As a result of the program success, Taawon’s project partner has submitted a research paper showing such experience in Lancet Conference in Amman in March 2016.
