Rawan Abdulatif and Majd Mashharawi are two engineers from Gaza. They are young entrepreneurs incubated by Mobaderoon 3 project. They initiated a project named ‘Green Cake’ for a new type of environment friendly bricks made of coal ash. The new brick type was tested and proved its efficiency.

“The brick is light weight, sound and heat proof, environment friendly and cheap. With such type of brick it can be an alternative of heavy brick made of cement. It is made of coal burning for electricity generation.”, said Majd. “We look forward to starting up a production line of Green Cake to compete with regular bricks in the market and we also hope to win MIT competition and present this product to the Arab world!”
