Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.

Following the successful launch of Taawon’s Malaysia fundraising campaign for Gaza’s orphaned children, Taawon (The Welfare Association) and the Palestinian Museum concluded a high-level visit to Indonesia aimed at preparing the ground for a similar campaign in support of Taawon’s Noor Program, while deepening cultural and heritage partnerships between Palestine and Indonesia.

BETHLEHEM – Taawon (Welfare Association) participated in the 10th Palestine International Marathon, held in Bethlehem, where it set up a dedicated pavilion to showcase the organization, its humanitarian and development mission, with a focus on “Noor” program. Taawon participated alongside numerous local and international organizations, as well as sports and community figures.

Taawon, Milestones MENA, and AXSOS Collaborate to Connect Palestinian Youth to the Labor Market

Taawon has announced the launch of strategic partnerships with specialized companies, including Milestones MENA and AXSOS, as part of the implementation of the project “Developing the Competencies and Skills of Palestinian Youth in Promising Sectors in Palestine” under the “Learn to Lead” program. The initiative aims to enhance the readiness of Palestinian youth to enter the labor market through advanced, practice-oriented training pathways.
