Iman completed her undergraduate degree at Birzeit University in Business Administration in 2011. She couldn’t find a job for 3 years, until she joined the Youth Employment program in 2014. The program provided her with the necessary training and skills to work at the E-Store, the first electronic supermarket in Palestine.

Iman faced difficulties at the beginning of her on-the-job training, but with perseverance and hard work she overcame them all. As a result of the program, she has gained experience in e-commerce and social media channels.  She has marketing experience, and is able to write promotional emails and electronic advertising materials. She can raise awareness of store related events and products either through direct contact or email. She’s gained important business skills like time management and cooperating as part of a team.

Thanks to the program, Iman is now a full-time employee at the company she trained with, which provides her with a fixed monthly income that supports her and her family.
