“Where do birdies go during war?”

During the 2014 assault on the Gaza Strip, a young girl asked her mother “Where do birdies go during war?” Her mother sent the question to the library in Beit Furik in the West Bank, where a group of children chose to answer the question in a short lm called “The Little Birdie Girl.” Fikri, one of the children working on the lm, said, “We want to show the world how children live during wars and that animals and birds are affected by wars too.”
