For the second consecutive year, Taawon won the Mahatma Gandhi Award, which was awarded during a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Mahatma Gandhi in India. Dr. Tafeeda Jarbawi, the Director General of Taawon, commented during a recorded message on the importance of the Award for organizations that have great impact in the area of social good though working in their societies.
