Lebanese Health Association honors Taawon

On June 8th, the Health Care Society (HCS) in Lebanon honored Taawon for its continuous support of HCS. Dr. Tafeeda Jarabawi, Taawon Director General, received the shield. In addition, HCS honored Taawon Chairman Mr. Faisal Alami in recognition of his contributions and efforts to improve the health, social, environmental and educational conditions of the Palestinians in Lebanon. The event was attended by Dr. Walid Al-Alami, Chairman of HCS, and Mr. Fuad Buarashi, Chairman of Taawon, Lebanon Branch.

Taawon has been committed to establishing and supporting kidney dialysis center at the Al-Hamshari Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Saida and the recently opened Beddawi dialysis center. Taawon supports the operational expenses for both centers at an annual cost of about half a million US dollars.
