Launching of the 12th Specialized course on “Conservation and Management of the Built Heritage” in Nazareth

In line with the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) and Taawon mission in preserving the Palestinian heritage and identity to support their living culture and building civil society, The Old City of Jerusalem Revitalization Program (OCJRP) with a generous  fund from Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, and in partnership with Arab Culture Association, have launched “The Conservation and Management of the Built Heritage in Nasareth core course ” on Monday 2/10/2017.

The main objective of this course is to enhance and increase the capacity building of architects, engineers and contractors in restoration field, and improve their skills and knowledge in restoration techniques according to international standards in architectural conservation .

In this respect, five international experts in addition to two local experts are engaged to train 15 participants and practitioners in the field of restoration during the period from 2 October 2017 until 8 January 2018.
