For the Fourth consecutive year, Taawon has received the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Award.  Taawon got awarded the Mahatma Award 2021 for demonstrating excellence and highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, civic and social responsibility. The selection committee of the Mahatma Award has granted Taawon this prestigious award for Taawon’s role as an impactful leading organization and change maker in developing and working through partnerships to achieving the goals.

Taawon’s record over the past 38 years reflects a journey full of achievements and reinforced by strong partnerships.  Engaging in and sustaining partnerships with other organizations, foundations, government agencies, and even individuals is a core strength and an enabling mechanism that Taawon has capitalized on throughout the years to serve Palestine and Palestinians.
