Dr. Tafeeda Jarbawi, Director General of the Welfare Association (WA), took part in A two-day international conference on "Engaging Youth: Palestine Refugees in a Changing Middle East", which convened in 19-20 March 2012 by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in Brussels.

At the event, which has Baroness Catharine Ashton, EU High Representative for  Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nabil El Araby, Secretary General of the Arab League, and Mr. Salam Fayyad, Palestinian Prime-Minister among the keynote speakers, WA and UNRWA worked on formalizing and strengthening their partnership.
