Course concluded on Conservation and Management of the Built Heritage in Bethlehem

The Old City of Jerusalem Revitalization Program (OCJRP) in partnership with the Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) completed a course on “The Conservation and Management of the Built Heritage in Bethlehem" funded by the Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development. 



The course was held between 2nd of October 2017 and 9th of January 2018 with 7 international and local experts.



The training covered various topics in the field of cultural heritage conservation delivered through theoretical lectures and applied training. The course included 11 participant from various educational background from Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nablus, and Ramallah.



During the course, the trainees have prepared a conservation plan for Dar Al-Sabagh building which located on Al Najmeh Street, a UNESCO world heritage site.
